Cactus

Cactus has gained popularity in recent years as a houseplant that needs minimal maintenance. Known for their hardiness and prickliness, Cactus is often considered aggressive spiny plants. Yet, they are also survivors, strong and hardy regardless of their harsh environment.

Cactus is a flowering plant from South and North America. There are more than 2,000 species[1] of cacti in the world, some very common and others very rare that they are almost critically endangered.

Colorful Cactus Flowers

Cactus is a succulent that is distinguished from other succulents by its small pillow-shaped structures called areolas, with tiny “hairs” typically found on the top of the plant. All cacti plants produce flowers, but some are showier than others.
