Basket-of-Gold is nicknamed because of its beautiful yellow flowers. It is an evergreen perennial from the Brassicaceae family, native to Europe and Asia. This plant is synonymous with the Alyssum saxatile plant[1] and is among the most resilient flowering plants.

Basket Of Gold Flowers

Its original habitat is mountainous and rocky, which makes it perfect for sloping terrain and rock gardens. In any case, the flowers add a nice touch of sparkle. The plant grows relatively quickly and, under the right conditions, can reach 4 to 12 inches in height.

Aurinia Saxatilis Flower

The growth comprises a woody base with small, simple, gray-green leaves surrounded by abundant yellow flowers in spring. The plant blooms in panicles or clusters of small white or yellow flowers.
