SSRD: A Simple Sequence Repeats Database of the Human Genome
The database of simple sequence repeats in the human genome(SSRD), is a comprehensive resource for information about Simple Sequence Repeats in the human genome. The 501 SSRs, contained in SSRD, are divided into k-mer repeats, where k ranges from one to six, i.e. monomer repeats to hexamer repeats.
SWEET-DB offers access to CarbBank entries via graphics-oriented surface. Bibliographic search and similarity-based structure search is possible. 3D structures (optimized by TINKER) of hit entries are displayed and can be saved as PDB files.
The Prosthetic groups and Metal Ions in Protein Active Sites Database.
An integrated Human Genome mapping database.
The University of Minnesota Biocatalysis/Biodegradation Database
Microbial biocatalytic reactions and biodegradation pathways primarily for xenobiotic, chemical compounds.
Virus database on-line (ICTVdB)
ICTVdB provides access to the ICTV (International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses), the Index Virum, a catalogue of all ICTV approved virus names, the universal virus database containg the descriptions of viruses and to an picture gallery of viruses. All databses have links to other prominent websites available around the world which are devoted to information about viruses, along with short, clear descriptions of each of them.
